Today’s image comes from Art from Scrap<\/a> on the corner of Garden and Cota Streets in downtown Santa Barbara. I seem to be on Cota Street a lot, don’t I? But Cota Street is home to Specialty Color Services<\/a> and Calumet Photographic, Inc.<\/a> They are both my second homes.<\/p>\n

Art From Scrap\u2019s Reuse store keeps thousands of pounds of clean, reusable materials from ending up in the Santa Barbara County landfill each year. You can find all kinds of treasures donated by local businesses and individuals\u00a0 at this store at a very very reduced price. They even have an education program that teaches young children the principles of recycling and pollution prevention. <\/span><\/p>\n

Check it out the next time you need some crazy zany item for that special photo shoot!<\/span><\/p>\n

Here they have displayed lots of different items on the exterior of their building and fence. I liked the mix of shapes and lines.<\/span><\/p>\n
