Today’s image comes from Art from Scrap on the corner of Garden and Cota Streets in downtown Santa Barbara. I seem to be on Cota Street a lot, don’t I? But Cota Street is home to Specialty Color Services and Calumet Photographic, Inc. They are both my second homes.
Art From Scrap’s Reuse store keeps thousands of pounds of clean, reusable materials from ending up in the Santa Barbara County landfill each year. You can find all kinds of treasures donated by local businesses and individuals at this store at a very very reduced price. They even have an education program that teaches young children the principles of recycling and pollution prevention.

Here they have displayed lots of different items on the exterior of their building and fence. I liked the mix of shapes and lines.
