In memory of Mark, #3

Places you can't get to by car. Aerial shots and views of the island that Mark loved to share with visitors.

In memory of Mark, #2

Locations on the west side of the island that we would go together on day trips.

In memory of Mark, #1

These are a few pictures of the places Mark would take me to photograph. As the boys got older, they didn't want to go out with Mom and Dad, so many of these were day trips with just the two of us.

Holgas & Coffee Roll 3

Last roll of film shot in this workshop. This roll was one I brought from home - a roll of Fujifilm, Fujicolor Pro 160C, which is a higher contrast color film, expires in August of 2009. I really like the effect of developing color film in the coffee developer - the cyan coloring adds a wonderful twist to the images

Holgas & Coffee Roll 2

Second roll of film - TMax 100 B&W medium format shot with the Holga and developed in coffee. Still Going! to the train station and beyond!

Holgas & Coffee Roll 1

Creating images with a Holga camera and developing the film in coffee - great fun! And a step backwards and forwards at the same time: using film in today's digital world doesn't happen too often anymore; and developing the film in coffee is the next greatest craze - but who figured this out?

Fire in Your Eyes - Part 2: Lensbaby Images

These images were shot with a LensBaby 3G at the beginning of the evening

Fire In Your Eyes Event - Part 1: Fire and LEDs

The performers were incredible! This whole evenings workshop was about stopping the action of the performer, but using long exposures to get the action of the fire. We used a high powered multiple strobe flash for some of these - oh the things you can do with flash!
