PHOTO OF THE DAY – June 1st

I have decided to post a photo a day. This is a project I have been meaning to start for a long time – ever since I was in class with Chris Orwig for the first time . . . WOW that was way back in 2006! Can’t believe it has been that long.

Of course, this means that I need to have subjects to shoot. I won’t make any guarantees on the longevity of this project, nor will I make any guarantees on content. So bear with me and enjoy.

At the end of each month, I will gather all of the photos and place them into an album posted on the Photo a Day page.

TODAY’S  IMAGE

camera type: Canon EOS 5D
lens type: Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM, 70mm
exposure: 1/200s @ f/3.2
post-production: Lightroom 2.0
location: Santa Barbara, CA – in my front yard, in the rain

Just one last comment . . . Ralph Clevenger would fire me on the spot for not having the proper name of this flower in the caption! And for the life of me, I don’t know it – pretty sad since they are all over the place – in abundance! I think this means I may be too lazy to look it up.

But I also think it isn’t about the name of the flower, it is about the rain, the water droplets and the colors . . .  well, you get the picture (every pun intended!).
