Around the corner and down the street . . . there is this arched gate that I love . . .
Every time I drive past it, I tell myself that one day I am going to photograph the gate – I just love the style of it. Today was the day. And there just happened to be a parking spot right in front of it. Talk about knee-jerk driving! Fortunately, there was no one behind me and I made the last minute decision to pull over, get out and take the picture.
I did do a little post production in Photoshop on these 2 images – it is an action that I created to add an outline to the details as well as quite a bit of saturation. I will let you be the judge as to whether you like the effect or not . . .
